The First Investigative Division arrested office worker A (35) and unemployed B (32) on suspicion of assault after groping a female schoolgirl on the train, punching her on the station platform after getting off the train, and then taking her to a nearby public restroom and assaulting her. Several reports of similar damage had been filed at the station, which led to the arrest as a result of increased vigilance. The suspect was arrested on suspicion of punching a female student once in the stomach, grabbing her arm, dragging her to a public restroom 200 to 300 meters away, and forcibly having sex with her at around 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 2 on the Shinjuku Station platform of a private railway in Nishi-Shinjuku 1-chome, Shinjuku Ward. According to the First Investigation Division, the suspect stated, ``I couldn't control my sexual desire.''
