Her husband had borrowed money from his friend Okada. When the repayment deadline has passed, the husband falls to his knees when Okada comes to collect the money. The next day, Okada came to see Iroha when she went out. She has a good job and is asked if she would like to do it, so she goes along if it will help her husband even a little. It was a soapland. Iroha tries to go home because the story is different, but when Okada says, ``If things continue like this, my husband's debt will not go away,'' she decides to work.
